Feijoada vegana do Org Bistrô

Essa é de longe a melhor feijoada vegana. A receita é do Org Bistrô. Continuar lendo “Feijoada vegana do Org Bistrô”

Congee (sopa coreana)

Para dias frios, ou durante um resfriado. Essa sopa coreana, que a gente vê em kdramas (pra quem vê novela coreana :P), além de absurdamente fácil de fazer, é uma delícia. Continuar lendo “Congee (sopa coreana)”

Windsor Castle

“Her passion for ancient edifices was next in degree to her passion for Henry Tilney– and castles and abbeys made usually the charm of those reveries which his image did not fill”.
― Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey

Jane Eyre

Jane EyreJane Eyre
por Charlotte Brontë

Minha classificação: 5 de 5 estrelas

Um livro preferido dentre todos? Possivelmente. A narrativa em primeira pessoa cativa e impressiona desde a primeira linha, da dureza da infância de Jane até sua jornada, transformando-se em uma mulher independente e fiel tanto a seus princípios quanto a seus desejos mais profundos.

“I care for myself. The more solitary, the more friendless, the more unsustained I am, the more I will respect myself.”

“Every window in Alcatraz has a view of San Francisco.”
Susanna Kaysen

“You may not be able to alter reality, but you can alter your attitude towards it, and this, paradoxically, alters reality. Try it and see.”

– Margaret Atwood

“Before I sink into the big sleep, I want to hear, I want to hear the scream of the butterfly”.

– The Doors, When The Music’s Over

“Tip the world over on its side and everything loose will land in Los Angeles.”
― Frank Lloyd Wright

“Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

– Steve Jobs

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
― Bruce Lee

“Before the real city could be seen it had to be imagined, the way rumours and tall tales were a kind of charting.”
― Michael Ondaatje, In the Skin of a Lion
